Day 1 Submission - Eyes to See

This is a short poem I wrote about those rare occasions where we recognize the sacredness of the moment we are in. The brief times when our blindness to God's presence gives way to an awakening of His glory.

NameJosh Reeves

Branches blowing in the gentle breeze
Sunshine dancing on the turning leaves

Clouds passing at a hastened pace
Blue sky smiling full of grace

Canvas sparkling with glimmers divine
Distraction blinds us from glory’s shine

For just a glimpse if we could see
Would burn away our unbelief

Flood the heart with simple praise
Silence the soul with loving gaze
